Dilemma At The Door

A massive issue happened today, I know you would be thinking that I am a big introvert still there is always some type of hype hazard happening in my life. Trust me I also want to find the answer for this question.

As always I was trying to kill my time by just watching only the thing that makes me to escape this from my harsh reality F.R.I.N.D.S, the television show setup in late 90s which has 6 friends from different background. The best place to make yourself hide among 6 people who are there for each other every thick and thin but does these types of people exist in real life, I guess not.

Anyway back to reality or you can say my life that issue I was talking about “TINDER”. Among all my other applications in my cell phone this application is taking more space in my cell phone and in my head too.

YES, I just opened that message that was blinking in my notification bar. Today I got to know this notification is just like the last piece of pizza kept in your refrigerator, you know you don’t need to eat it as it will be overeating but you can’t resist it either because you know it’s the last piece and who knows when you will order next. The same goes with this message, you know it will not be that easy to go through all that judgment of society again but there is itsy bitsy felling that who knows will I be able to find another match again.

So with this dilemma I opened the message and new chapter of my life starts “VIVAN”

“HI” it blinked

With my shaking hand I typed “Hey” and with no clue at all about ahead conversation just hit the send button

Within no time I got the reply from that side “Nice Hair”

Normally I would write Thanks and forget about it because I know why people gave fake compliment just to give you the sympathy, actually that compliment looks good from above but beneath it is decoded as “You are ugly but we know how to console you”. But this time it felt with a different vibe

So I just looked at mirror and felt a different type of aura, I started flicking my hair from left to right and started to adjust at what side does it look good, it was for the first time after that incident I again started to look at myself with a little positive attitude. But wait who knows he maybe faking like others. With that thought I am back to square one

In mean time my phone buzzed with a lot of question marks, I forgot to reply him with that I typed

“Thanks”

With that his message popped up “How are you?”

This was just an opener message for me, but for me it opened a different type of lane of society. The lane where I am considered as good or as beautiful as other girls.

And with this we started chatting.

From talking about our background to hobbies, we just talked.

Maybe people are right social media is a platform that can take a person from down to up, but there was a catch who knows that who is lying me or him or both.

As I was enjoying the chat with him, a new notification beeped. I thought it would be as usual stuff like WhatsApp message from Shanaya, my best friend to come and hang out or just Facebook or Instagram needed for update.

But when I opened the notification bar, the message displayed was just the same as before but it gave me chills as this time it was from different person. The message that displayed was

TINDER

“IT’S A MATCH”
